Ich wurde von Eva Fox-Gál auf ein kurz bevorstehendes Konzert in Berlin aumerksam gemacht, das ich sonst verpasst hätte. Am nächsten Donnerstag wird es in den Uferhallen Wedding als Pre-Release di Sonate für Oboe und Klavier op.85 von Hans Gál gespielt. Das Programm des Konzertes auf der Seite von Pianosalon Christophori stimmt allerdings nicht mit dem Programm überein, das ich per Email bekommen habe – also, das echte Programm (freilich noch interessanter) ist so:
Leos Janácek: Ave Maria aus Jenůfa
Hans Gál: Sonate op.85
Pavel Haas: Suite op.17
Bohuslav Martinů: Vier Lieder
Klement Slavicky: Suite
Wie von der Oboistin Viola Wilmsen erläutert (erste Oboistin des Sinfonie-Orchesters Berlin): ” The whole program is related to the human voice, as Pavel Haas originally drafted his Suite for tenor and orchestra, before rescoring it for oboe. The program starts with Janacek, who was an idol and teacher for Haas and Slavicky. Gál, Martinů and Haas share the fate of being forced to flee the Third Reich or, in the case of Haas, being killed by the Nazis. With this program we hope to make a modest contribution so that the evils perpetrated by Nazi Germany are not forgotten- especially in these times of increasing right-wing tendencies.”
